Dust is an original story developed and produced by Ember Lab. The film is a sci-fi/fantasy concept that examines the social and interpersonal impact of a world in a state of constant and extreme change. To give viewers a first glimpse into this unique world our team traveled to remote areas of Shikoku, Japan and Big Sur, California to capture a 20 minute short film.

In May, 2012, we ran a successful Kickstarter campaign to build awareness for the project and raise funds for postproduction. We generated over $100K in funding for the project and grew a fan base of 1,500 supporters. We plan on using the short film as a source of creative content for films, games and other digital entertainment. The film will be completed in January 2013.
